    Default SS to Texas Method

Well I believe I might be coming to an end to SS and I was planning on trying the Texas Method next. With 3 days of basketball obviously SS is a grind at times. I keep a food log to ensure I hit 4000 calories a day (High protein/High Carb) but was wondering how much harder Texas Method is?

I have read as many older threads for Texas method as I could and realize volume day will definitely be draining, but what about ID? Just curious to hear from those who were trying to do high cardio with Texas Method.

LOL.....I'm sure I will. Hopefully the kindle version will be available shortly after the book release. Anything I can do now to prepare or start with?

Look at it this way: You get a light day, which is a breeze relative to the rest. One volume day you work hard for a long time, but not quite maximally. On intensity day, it's brief but very challenging.

My little nicknames for the workouts:
    Monday/volume: The Bear
    Wednesday/light: The Cub
    Friday/intensity: The Lion
