my owwwww fascial
When i started with the softball therapy for my injured gluteus medius, it would hurt quite a bit and even a few seconds of it would quickly become uncomfortable. Gradually it has become less and less uncomfortable, and now I can even do the rolling on a hard tiled floor using a hard softball and it only causes a little pain. Even my therapist's elbow is no longer as unbearable as it once was.
Is this consistent with your experience with self myofascial release?
Will I have to graduate to a ball made of spikes one day?

Once you graduate to the plain PVC and the lacross/softballs you are at the maximum of your myofascial release progression.
Really, once you reach this point it's just a matter of being consistent.
