What training effects will be lost/sub-optimized if one were to perform one's exercises throughout the day rather than back to back (e.g. squat at 8am, bench at 1pm and deadlift at 9pm)? If someone (NOT ME) were on a schedule such that the above were to become necessary (a doubtful premise but let's just ASK the theoretical), how would, or would this even, affect gainz? (We're talking about someone somewhere within the novice phase.)

Aside from requiring some additional warmup time, it would probably not meaningfully mess anything up. You would not get the training effect of being a little fatigued, but this would probably allow for more work to be done over the course of the day. It is probably just fine.
