    background:
    height: 6f 5" weight: 275 pounds

I did SS during the summer, but had to stop due to back problems from squatting. I've had great difficulties with the low-bar technique, despite the fact that I've read SS:BBT over and over and watched all the vids on this board.

I'm beginning to squat again, but with a high-bar, atg-style. I't feels more natural and I can maintain the lumbar arch pretty well. We'll see how it goes.

    Stats:
    Bench 255
    Press 145
    Deadlift 400
    Squat 5x155 (lol!)

    1-14
    Squat 5x155
    Dips 3-3-3
    Deadlift 5x330, 3x355, 2x375
    Roman chair sit-ups 3x8x10

wow agressive jumps there, don't rush, you add lbs to the bar everyworkout, it's better to go slow than to stall early.

Kaiser: Yeah, 5 pound jumps are the way to go from now on. I was afraid that I was a bit too gready with the last 20 pound jump, but everything went well today. Let's hope it stays that way

I'm having a massage on friday, so no lifting before sunday. I might do some notorious LSD running....

I've decided to construct a real program for a change. Lately, I've been training pretty intuitively. It has worked well for my deadlift, but not for other lifts. I have also often succumbed to my bodybuilding desires

I have pretty weak legs and glutes compared with my lower back, so I'll try to bring them up to speed. I'll lay of the regular deads, and try to strengthen my weak points with other deadlift variations.

Anyway, here's my plan to pull 450:

    Wednesday
    Oly/Front Squat 3x5
    RDL 3x5
    Press 5x5 / Dips 5xf

    Friday
    Oly/Front Squat 3x5
    Press 2x5x80%
    Roman chair sit-ups 5x

    Sunday
    Deadlift variation
    Barbell rows 5x5 / Chins 5xf
    Press 1-3RM
    Back extensions 3x10

    Deadlift variation:
    weeks 1-2: RDL 3x5
weeks 3-4: Snatch grip deadlifts 3x5
    weeks 5-6: Sumo deadlifts 3x5
    week 7: Deadlift 1x400
    week 8: Deadlift 1x?
