As the title say, what's the best way to bolt down my Atlas 2"x2" rack to my platform. My platform is 1.25" tall, so should I just still through the rack and throw some 3" bolts into it? Is there some sort of a bracket I could fabricate easily or pick up at a hardware store to avoid drilling through the rack?

You don't need a bracket. Just remove the bolts that secure the uprights to the base and get longer ones. Put the longer bolts through the platform as well.

That's a good idea. I wonder if I could forgo the base altogether and just bolt the uprights down directly to the platform, without the base.

Get some big washers or some tie plates too.
