Default Squat with limited shoulder mobility due to injury?

75 yo client is able to get in proper squat position with body weight.
He is unable to place himself proper bar position due to left shoulder immobility.

Is this a lift we cannot do? Or, Could I be coaching better?

Med history: Broke humerus at age 20. Pin was inserted which extended through and over the top of the bone. It is still in place. Pin did limit movement. Possible rotator cuff tear 20 years ago playing baseball as well.

Can't really tell you without seeing him. I can tell you that people with really bad shoulders may have to high bar.

Take a look at this thread, where I describe a simple DIY solution that has allowed me to do low bar squats despite severe shoulder immobility:

Nick, that is helpful as he is able to hold the bar there. And Steve, this is amazingly resourceful. Thank you both.
