    Default Barbell to the mouth

    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    Several times a day I PC a light weight to try and correct my arm pull. For your entertainment here is me catching the bar with my lips. I would say I finally held the arms in extension!

    I've done everything but that.

    Hit my forehead snatching.
    Hit my throat/adamsapple cleaning.
    Hit my chin Jerking (lol).

    I dropped the bar once from the thigh (for the next rep) my hands let go alittle . . . the bar rebounded up into my thumb . . like a finger jam . . .fucked my thumb up pretty good for 6 weeks.

    As for your lift: add more weight. You need a bit of resistance when practicing the PC.
    Oh, and you really should post this in the 'Joined a new gym...' post, down in E&P, before someone else does it (not that I am trying to give anyone ideas, of course).

    I used to be able to do that when I was a lot lighter. Haven't tried recently. Definitely wasn't as clean as Clarence's.

    Yeah... Injured my thumb as well. Felt really stupid. Never did it happen again... That I found really amazing! I mean I never made any conscious effort to remember not to hit my thumb... The body just learned on its own!!
