    Hi Jordan,
My wife and I have been using the To Be a Beast macros for fat loss for the last few weeks. We're measuring food, tracking, etc., everything's been going fine. However, I just found out today that I have an umbilical hernia.

Doc has recommended no lifting until I get it fixed and am healed up. Hopefully I'll get the surgery within the next few weeks. I've read all the "umbilical hernia" threads I've found on the SS boards and will definitely ask the surgeon about the mesh fix.

My question for you is: what kind of adjustments (if any) should I make to my macros now that I won't be able to lift for at least a couple months?

    Right now I'm at 309/247/67 (protein/carbs/fat).

    Thanks,
    --Vince

I'd switch around your protein and carb numbers and then adjust carbs and fat down as needed to lose weight in the face of decreased activity. You might not need to adjust them down depending on how your metabolism does or doesn't change in response to activity levels.
