    If you'd like free form advice on the Internet, you can figure out how to turn your video right side up. You can do it.

    I finally got to a computer and did it, its fixed now.

    Squeeze your chest up to arch your back and stay tight as you break the bar off the ground. You are allowing yourself to relax slightly on the pull. Keep your arms straight until after you finish the jump.

    TomC, I noticed his back rounds while setting down the bar.
    Is this OK so long as the bar is being put down without trying to decelerate it?

    I basically just follow the bar down with my hands so it doesn't look like I'm dumping it, so I don't see why it would matter, but if it does ill work on that too.

    Beats me, I've never worked out with bumpers or rubber platforms.
    I have to set my bar down gently to save the floor and the iron plates -- for that a straight back matters for sure.

    Probably you're right that it doesn't matter in your case.
