    Default Squat form check

    last thread I posted didn't get approved by the mods I assume because I posted 2 videos in the first post. Didn't read the sticky on top for the subforums rules, so apologies.

    Just wanted to make sure my form is good.

    Tough to say only from the side. You do appear to be on your toes on almost every rep. Think: heels to get back into the middle of your foot. Also, get yourself some weightlifting shoes.

    hey thanks for the reply!

    Yea I have a problem with forward lean when the weights get really heavy, that 280 was pretty much a 5 rep max for me. Also, looking into shoes as we speak currently.

    Is this form somewhat better?

    They are not bad. Your feet are rolling in, which shoes will help with. As you fatigue, you get loose and drift on to your toes a little. Keep your knees out and fight them coming in on the ascent. Stay with your hips all the way to the top.
