Hi all:

Just joined this forum and wanted to say hi. Quick background on me. I'm 42 years old and 6'3" 218 pounds. I used to lift real heavy when I was in college while playing football. I have been in decent shape for most of my life, but decided to get back into weight lifting two years ago because I have had 9 knee surgeries in the past 10 years thanks to football. I really needed to strengthen my knee joint. Also I have hit plateaus on almost everything, so I decided to give SS a try.

My current 1RM
Bench - 250
Deadlift - 225
Press - 165
Squats - 225

I just completed my first week (3 sessions) and I am beat! A good beat though. I hopefully will start my log on this forum too.
