    Default my version of a split/power clean hoping for help

    • starting strength seminar august 2024

    I have been trying to learn these forever and decided one day to try using a semi split clean as I was able to actually "rack" more weight this way but I thought I would see if anybody had any helpful advice because I really want to learn power cleans I just do not have a coach to show me how. Any pointers will be appreciated. thanks

    I would recommend setting up with the bar over the midfoot. This will help you with that.

    Keep your arms straight when you jump. I cannot say for sure because of your video angle, but I believe you are bending early. Also, finish racking and stand up. None of those reps were completed. Also, better video get you better analysis. Check out the sticky for more ideas on how to fix that issue.
