    Starting HLM but also dieting down to lose some inches on the waist.

    If my last 3x5 squat on LP was 330, reasonable to start heavy day on squats at 330x5, then 3 sets of 5 at 315?

    I like power cleans, but I’m not great at them. Last LP session was 5x3 at 125. Last DL was 345 for three reps. Ok to use the PCs as light pull 3x3? I plan to do them on my heavy squat and bench day and deadlift on my light squat and press day.

    I’m 45 years old. Figured that might be relevant.

    Yes to Squat Heavy Day question. I kinda like the top set + back offs @ 5% reduction. 20% reduction for light day. 10% reduction for medium day.

    I'd ditch the triples across approach to PCs and go with nothing but singles with about 30-60 seconds in between each rep. You'll increase the loads you use across the board and you'll have better technique. I'd do about 10-15 total singles on your light day and about 15-20 total singles on your medium day
