    Hi,

how much should I eat while sidelined for a few weeks due to a tendon injury? I'm guessing significantly less, but I've been surprised before.

    Much appreciated.

Tendons don't consume a lot of calories while they heal. If you want to sit on your dead ass, eat accordingly.

When my knees were injured I still did bench, press, and added heavy good mornings and barbell rows 3x5. I also stepped up my chins to +25lbs and dips to +55lbs.

Being injured can give you an opportunity to really focus on weak spots, or get other lifts to soar since the recovery is less severe. I finally got back to my work sets at 245lbs on the squat today and it felt easy as pie. I credit the heavy good mornings with making me feel much more capable of maintaining back angle.
