I want to thank you Mr. Rippetoe and your team, for what you are doing: offering your help and opening our eyes with your training method and simple (not simplistic) instructions. It is so easy to get the wrong information by browsing a chaotic internet (or simply register at a local gym where nobody cares) and just "train" yourself wasting energy for the most part. I am reading the Starting Strength book these days and - finally - I understand how my form should be as well as finding a practical method how to make consistent progress.

Another thing that I understand from the book and watching your online videos is that, as it happens in most fields, a good coach/teacher is the one that gives clear instructions and speaks simple; over complicating things usually means that the teacher is confused himself. You are doing a great job and thank you for that.

Hear hear. Your work and that of the entire SS team has helped both me and the people I help out in the gym. If anything, they all owe you a thank you, too, as you're vicariously responsible for their continued progress insofar as I'm able to drive that trend upwards. Thanks, Coach(es).
