    Default Belts in Germany

Does anybody have experience with this weightlifting belt from Germany?

    (also on amazon)

There seem to be very few usable weightlifting belts available in Germany. The one above at least is made of leather (looks like suede, actually) @ 4" / 13mm.

I am just a little concerned about the price, it's comparatively cheap.
How bad can cheap belts be?

Try the zulu glove company. A couple of people on these boards say it is a good piece of kit.

zulu glove are good, there is also strengthshop.de

Leather belts are difficult to get on and off, the zulu glove design has a special handle for quick release.

The zulu glove belts look good, but my size is sold out at the moment. The belt would cost around 85€, including shipping.

Also I think that a 10mm belt would be better for me, thus I won't buy the one I linked above. A cheaper alternative to the zulu one would still be nice...

I have a zulu glove belt, so does my brother and now my brother in law. They really are excellent pieces of kit.

The design looks decent, but the price makes me suspicious about the quality.
I am Swiss and I ordered my belts from Inzer in the USA. It's expensive and the shipping takes 3-4 weeks, but the quality is excellent.
It's not like you are going to buy a lot of belts during your training career, so invest in good quality.
Choice of Champions in Haltern also sells good quality belts and is worth a visit. Great old-school gym.

Inzer belts look good, too. They cost about the same for me, so I might go with one of those.
I read about Choice of Champions, but those are a little more expensive.
