When to add Power clean
Hello coaches.
I'm sure this question has been asked many of times and I read the book. I know it says the powerclean should be introduced in 2-3 weeks or when the deadlift feels like it is getting heavy. My deadlift started at 135 and is now up to 215. It's heavy and I deffinatley get a sweat going but I feel like I can do more before switching to power clean every other.
I have the app and I know it says when you start deadlifting your body weight you should alternate power clean. I am 5'10 and weigh 260lbs . Should I wait and start alternating deadlift with power cleans when I start deadlifting 260lbs ?

There's no hard and fast rule here, but if a dude isn't yet pulling 225 or more, power cleans are not a priority. Work on them whenever the mood strikes you.
