    Default Absolute newbie squat form check 2

    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    Height 6 feet
    Body Weight 92 Kg ( 202 Pounds)

    Started couple of weeks ago

    1) Cut off the depth a little bit.
    2) Increased the weight ( 121 pounds )
    3) Tried pushing the hips straight up.

    Please let me know if any improvements or any major flaws so i can fix them and continue adding weight.

    You are not holding your low back in rigid extension, especially at the bottom of each rep; you should be. Don't look at the mirror; look at your spot on the floor 3-5 feet in front of you for the duration of the set. Don't pause at the bottom. I think your knees are pushing too far forward, but it is hard to see in the this video; lean your torso over immediately as you start your descent.
