Twisting motion in squat
One of my clients currently has a twisting motion going on in her squat. She's a Masters, and she's just squatting with a practice bar. The twisting isn't associated with any pain, but she says that she has been to a physical therapist for back pain and they noticed the same movement pattern dysfunction. She claims they tried all sort of typical PT stuff to no avail. It's causing her to not quite hit depth because it causes her right knee to cave in a bit.
If a video is necessary, she's said she doesn't mind being recorded for a set or two. So I can get one of those next week some time if needed.
Any ideas pre-video though?
Thanks.

Tell her not to twist while she is squatting. Try cueing her with a command to push the shoulder forward that wants to go back. Without seeing it, I cannot say what is going on for sure. If this is present at light weights, you will need to fix it as best you can. Would probably need two camera angles. One from rear oblique. One from directly behind. Both at hip height.
