The kind of squat that feels like a push from the knees and lacks hip drive. I've been messing around with my stance, foot angle, and other stuff, but I feel like I'm just dropping to the bottom without any tightness. My quads and glutes are quite large in comparison to my adductors and hammies as a result. Not good for the knees to squat like this.

It's been talked about here about keeping the knees out obviously, but how else exactly does one keep the posterior chain "tight" throughout the lift? I feel like I'm leaned over enough, because when I close the hip any further I fold in half. I'm wondering: during the descent, do the hamstrings feel anything like they do when you bend over with extended knees? Is it a palpable "stretch" feeling you get?

It sounds like a loose torso is affecting your squat.
