    hey all i am currently stalled on 3x5 and i was wondering if my lifts are adequate enough to move onto an intermediate program? or would i make faster gains sticking to 3x5? i dont know at what weight the average lifter moves onto intermediate programs. my 5 rep maxes are

    squat 275lbs x5
    Bench 200lbs x5
    ohp 135 lbs x5
    dl 280 lbs x5 thats my 5rm after doing squats i bet it is higher than that.

    Light squats and deadlifts on Wednesday, 3x5 Monday and Friday, you have some more easy gains available.

    On a serious note;
    1) how long have you been on SS
    2) how much weight have you gained
    3) are you drinking milk? How much?

    Any injuries or confounding factors like holidays etc?

    Cut your depth off, post a form check in a week or so.
    If you can give me reason for squat technique that slackens most of the musculature involved, continue on.

    Also, assuming you started with an empty bar... You've added less than 5lbs a week to your squat/DL on average.
    Why?
