Squat shoes
Hello Rip,
I have another question. I believe you said that putting a plate or block of wood under the heels because it forces the weight towards the ball of the feel (not counting the stability issue). Why is this different than what squat shoes do since they have a heel (as compared to chucks or even bare feet)?
Thanks...

A block of wood or any other heel block leaves a piece of your foot unsupported. This is not critical at 135. It may become important at 405.
