My Link Policy on this Forum

I delete links included in posts on this Q&A for the following reasons:

1. Links to articles written for the primary purpose of drawing traffic to the website from this board, i.e. trolling.

2. Articles or links that are advertising products or services that we have not recommended and do not intend to recommend.

3. Links to articles written by people who have not previously operated in good faith with us.

4. Links to articles in national-level publications that are boring, repetitive reiterations of conventional-wisdom bullshit that are posted for purposes of mere disagreement.

5. Links to articles by other authors designed to either create controversy, manufacture disagreement between two experts, or make the poster turgid for the amazing accomplishment of causing strife on the Internet.

6. Things that piss me off.

Just to be clear, I don't delete all posted links. But I will not promote the website of any ankle-biter who writes for the purpose of calling attention to a website for the sole purpose of disagreeing with me. You guys can find enough of this shit without my help.
