Ok man. I will go with 80-85% of my best 5RM low-bar squat.
I don't know why but the low bar squat is hurting my posterior chain. And since Rips says that high-bar trains your posterior chain less that's exatcly what I need right now.
I squatted 405 LB, when I switched I could only manage 385 on HB.
I've been squatting low-bar for six months and I think my form is decent. Maybe my knees are not out enough but man I really thing my hips are just overtrained. It hurts the most at the lockout which is technically the easiest part and since high-bar lockouts are mainly quads I think I will be fine. Don't know for sure but I can't wait to try high bar. I think it will help me a lot.
