I'm almost embarrassed to say that TAM introduced me to Mehdi and Stronglifts 5x5 over 6 years ago.
It wasn't until I scoured the internet with a bit more diligence that I came to discover the source material.

Great collab. Like that blog a lot.
I'm just halfway through the podcast now and at the point where you're talking about these (entry level) bodybuilders with the sickly looking or "runner's" legs, flat and shallow backs, etc. and you start sounding kind of sad and disappointed in humanity. Then comes that "You know... People, people are...... odd. That's all I can tell you. People are very very odd.". Comedic gold that one although a little sad because it's so true.
Odd...and lazy, since even if they do train legs, most of the time they'll head for the leg press because again, like the bench press, in can be done without having to make use of the entire body.
Making your way up the podcast ladder, Joe Rogan next???
I think an appearance on 60 minutes would be an appropriate next step.
Oh, yes. I'd love to have 60 Minutes discover my extensive porn collection, and shoot me doing my typical kyphotic squats twice a month. No harm could be done at all.
Due to the affiliation with ONNIT, I doubt it will ever happen. He's pretty sold on kettlebells being THE equipment for FUNCTIONAL strength and conditioning. Which is a shame, as it would be a good discussion. Maybe Rogan is open minded enough? The extensive porn collection might help in this regard.
