Your articles seem to come out right when I need them. Thanks for that. A quick question... Is it okay to combine two methods? In other words, setup like this for 4-day TM:

    Monday:
    Intensity Squat
    RDL 3x5

    Thursday:
    Deadlift 1x5
    Squat 5x5
Deficit Deadlift 2x5 at 10% reduction

    Thanks again, Andy

Hi Andy, Great Article. With respect to the Example #1 (4-Day Texas Method), week 2 Light DL variant. I cannot power snatch at my shitty globo gym. What would be a good substitute? Would deficit deadlifts fit in here? Maybe snatch grip deficit deadlifts?

Should work fine. Adjust sets/reps accordingly to make things work. So maybe if this feels like too much you just do 1 set of deficit back offs and 1-2 sets of RDLs at top end weight

[QUOTE=MAD9692;1444444]Hi Andy, Great Article. With respect to the [COLOR=#252525][FONT=&quot]Example #1 (4

None of these examples are meant to be prescriptive, only illustrative.

In this particular example I'd just say Power Clean again.

Remember that I don't like Deficits for "light days" Snatch Grip Deadlift, maybe. Snatch Pulls - for sure. Love those.
