Eat.
Height? Weight?
Hey guys, I'm new to this site. I have been doing squats, deadlifts, bench, etc. (basically all exercises included in starting strength, except for power clean) for a few months. However, I have not been able to increase the weight I'm lifting, so I suspect it's got something to do with my forms. So recently I taped myself doing squat, press and deadlift. Could you please let me know where exactly I'm doing wrong?

edit: I can't seem to figure out how to post the videos on this forum, sorry I can only provide the links. I am 5'9 and I weight about 170 pounds

Rasco, I agree, you need to eat - nice job getting in there and working it.
Squat - need a better angle that shows full body. Minor tweak - wrists should be flat, vice under the bar.
Press - When hips get forward at the bottom (when you first move them forward) don't pause, bounce off full extension to the front and drive the bar over your head.
Deadlift - When you bend over to grab the bar, don't bend you knees. When you have your hands on the bar, bend your knees until your shins touch the bar, and don't move your hips again. You lower your hips. Instead, raise your chest.
Hope this helps, drink milk, I am!
Hey thanks for the replies. One question though, how could I make my wrist more flat when doing squats?
ok thanks, I'm going to give it a try. I'll post new set of videos when I'm ready
Hello,
So today I did deadlift, press and squat again. I tried to think about the suggestions noted above when doing the exercises. However, I felt that I was not squatting properly still for some reason. I was only doing 165 and I was slow to get up. So could someone please watch the following videos and let me know how I can improve both my squatting and pressing? thanks in advance

These videos are very poor lighting and marginally useful. On the squat, feet are way too wide, I am unable to make enough sense of your grip in these videos to make suggestion - though it appears wide. You have no hip action in the press, review the new platform video and see if that helps.
On the squat, your wrist position is no different and you have gone TOO wide on the stance, bring that it in a little bit. Anything else would be speculation from me given the angle/lighting/etc.
The changing lighting sort of reminded me of this:
