Cybex UBE
I've noticed a couple of these at my gym and never really paid much attention to them. However, after a little thinking about conditioning are these UBEs (Upper Body Ergometer) a machine version of battle ropes? Are they successful to use in a program? Just mostly curious.

Upper body Ergs produce an exaggerated physiological response (ventilation, HR, lactic acid build up) compared to the amount of work being performed so they are not a very good tool for general conditioning.
