Are those the only two movement you perform, ag858? If so, you picked a couple dandys to make you strong!

We are just about the same size physically, unfortunately I am almost exactly twice as old.....

Coming up for the 103kg bodyweight deadlift goal two workouts from now. First big goal on the horizon, whoop whoop! I want a 70kg floor press nailed too.

    (30/8/11)
    Deadlift
    100.5kg x5, 90.5kg x5
    Floor Press
    65.5kg x5, 60.5kg x5

The first set on both lifts felt very heavy. BW deadlift next workout. Floor Press goal for a double soon I reckon. Seems like I've got at least another 2-3 workouts left in me for this cycle. Milk and southern fried chicken.

    Deadlift
    103kg x5, 93kg x5
    Floor Press
    66.5kg x5, 61.5kg x5

Bodyweight deadlift for 5 reps, I got it. Some thoracic spine arching on last couple of reps on deadlifts. Floor press grip is gradually getter wider as weight gets heavier.

    (8/9/11)
    Deadlift
    105.5kg x5, 95.5kg x5
    Floor Press
    68kg x (3 or 4?) , 63kg x5

Took a long pause and summoned the he-man powers to finish the last deadlift rep on that first set. Man, I'm weak lol. Happy with the continued progress though.
I can't remember if I did 3 or 4 reps on the first set of floor presses. My grip was cheat-wide and my form was falling apart. I think I'll reset a bit on the pressing.

    starting strength coach development program
    (13/9/11)
    Deadlift
    108kg x5, 98kg x5
    Floor Press
    68kg x (4/5) , 63kg x5
    Barbell Curls
    33kg x 3 x 5

Deadlift was superheavy for my weak ass, another PR. Good stuff, about a month ago I couldn't even do 108kg for a single. First set of deads was hairy, really doubted if I could do the last two reps, paused for more than 15 seconds between. Got it in the bag.
First set of floor presses, I couldn't lock out the last rep and ended up just able to rack it mid rep. Oooof.
