    Default Wrist straps for squats?

ever since i have been doing squats i have noticed i have been getting slightly worse and worse golfers elbow and want to stop it before it becomes an issue, i know it is to do with my grip positioning. I am working on flexibility but it is hardly improving and the only way i can get a thumb less grip is when i position my hands either side of the bar and to be honest, it feels weird and my back can't keep tight enough to hold the bar is place so its not controlled and moves around..

will wrist straps take up the stress on the wrists and prevent golfers elbow from becoming a full blown out problem?

    DO NOT do this.

Work on flexibility, lifts the elbows so the arms don't support the weight, don't "pull the bar into you" when you squat. Also, the hand is not under the bar, teh hand is resting on top, again not holding the weight.

actually I am encountering similar issues regarding the thumbless grip, what should i do to increase flexibility to so i perform the hand positioning correctly?

How is the thumbless grip harder? The hands are on top of the bar, not under it.

If i try to use a thumbless grip i can't get under the bar without it hurting around my shoulders (kinda feels very still) and even then it seems like i can only get the bar in a high bar squat position which feels weird and unstable to me. Like jackthelad i have to grip further apart which make it hard to keep the bar stable due to the lack of tightness that should keep the bar stable on my back.
