Never thought of using a metronome for making sure that I am not quitting too soon when trying to break the barbell off of the floor.

I will have to give it a try. Thanks for posting the video!

Well I work alone and the only motivation I get verbally is when the Mrs yells out, "Stop playing with them plates out there and put the garbage out!" Anyhow thanks Andrew for the encouragement. Today (Wednesday) is Dead lift day and I started out and got to 95 Kgs warm up and I thought will I go for 135Kg?, then my foot started to ache and my right knee started to pain and I thought these are signs I should stop besides it is getting hot 40 degrees C + here today and I stopped went out and watered the grass, then I came back to the bar and did my 135Kgs and then I went I got the Mrs her breakfast. All good.

First it feels weird to keep pulling on something that seems to be immovable but it's a great feeling when it (surprisingly) goes up anyway after 3-4 seconds. Thanks.
