So much for "keep it simple..."

How could I forget! It's all about the abs. Maybe he could hang a kettlebell around his neck too.
Fine, laugh all you want, but this guy is more functional than you'll ever be.
This is why a lot of gyms don't allow free weights...
I think he should try it with shoes with an aggressive tread and see what happens when the ball pops when he is in that position.
Did you guys know that this stuff actually happens? A quick search on youtube has caused me to abandon all hope for humanity.

Jesus Fucking Christ.
That pictures ooooold...
I remember going to commercial gym once and being frustrated that the entire floor was covered in thick spongey matting making squats feel less stable then I am accustomed to.
Then this guy comes up to use the rack next to me, and I think wow! Another person who actually squats. He looked pretty athletic & strong too.
But then he started squatting. He was wearing running shoes and his knees were both caving in badly during the poor depth squat & his feet were rolling around all over the place.
After several sets I could not take watching it any longer. So I stopped him to mention that his knees & feet were all over the place. That it was safer and more beneficial to keep knees out even if it means lowering weight. I also explained that flat hard shoes make it a lot easier, and that he should even try it barefoot to see how much better it is.
He listened politely and told me he had heard that a few times before. I thought I had helped him out with some good advice and it had sunk in. Perhaps he would try with different shoes next time.
But he then goes and fetches a balance board thing (even less stable than a bosu) and begins squatting on that with even worse form.
He had no reason to have wobbly knees & rolling feet, the weight was light enough that he was doing 10-12 rep sets.
Ok, let's try to get this thread back on track. Here's a pretty impressive video. Can anyone else do this? I can't.
