    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    I acknowledge that for work sets 3 minutes is the absolute minimum time to rest in between sets. I also realize that as weight goes up, so does rest time. But what about for warm up sets? Some actual rest time ranges you guys tend to use would be great!

    this is stated clearly in the book. The amount of time it takes you to add the weight to the bar is the only rest you need. From there its about how you feel, obviously the heavier you are lifting, the last couple of warm up sets might require a bit of rest, but they're only going to be 1-2 reps anyway, so it's not necessary to rest long.
