I suspect the asymmetry will go away as you get stronger, but this might be a case where the ubiquitous mirrors aren't so bad. Look at your hips as you ascend, and make them not do the thing they are doing. It sounds simple, but the visual feedback should allow you to correct it. Note that normally we don't want you looking at a mirror like you are.
