Hey, I feel that I need to by a weightlifting shoes since mine aren't that stable.

I don't have access to Rip's 0.5 rogue shoes in my country, but i can get the below expensive shoes.

    http://www.shopadidas.com/product/in...ductId=3025358

The thing is that I'm not sure if those have 0.5 inch heels and they work like the rip's rogue shoes ?

    Thanks,
    Antz

I have these and like them a lot. Fit true to size, same size as my dress shoes and adidas golf shoes. Fit is exceptionally narrow however. Heel is in the 1" ballpark, quite a bit higher than RIP's and probably unsuitable for all purpose use such as CF, deadlifts etc. Great for squats and pcs, though you will likely have to change shoes mid-workout depending on your routine. I have pic with tape measure, but don't know how to post it for you.

You can use services like myus.com or dhl to get the stuff sent over.

I bought Rogue Do-Win's because I have wide feet.

Why is 0.5 inch a difference on deadlift and cf? And why do I need to change shoes mid-workout, such as what exercises need other shoes?
    Thanks for the reply

Hey, well the thing i can get this adidas at its price 200 $ but the rip's shoe with shipping and so will cost me around 200 $ and it may not come because here in lebanon we have lots of shipping problems since you don't have standardized shipping addresses.

    Thanks for the reply

There are far more knowledgeable folks on this forum that can help explain, but in their absence use the search function to help find info. It is out there. I understood RIPs shoes to be a bit of a compromise, kind of in between a chuck taylor and a shoe like this adidas. Presumably, RIPs shoe was designed to be able to be used for multiple disciplines, not just squats. This makes it a usable shoe for many CF WOD that may throw in a deadlift or other lift where flat soles are desirable.

I really like my adiStar's. First pair of lifting shoes for me so I cannot compare to others. (birthday gift...and I hope they last for years!) They are extremely comfortable and best purchase I have ever made since lifting. I read the stuff about being narrow and was hesitant. I thought my foot was wide (shoe guy gave me wide running shoes) but they fit perfect. Ordered a size 11 which is the size of my leather dress shoes. I heard over and over that was a good fit comparison. adiStars: 11 Leather dress shoes: 11 Nike golf shoes: 11 1/2 Chuck Taylor: 10.5

Big fan, but I bet I would have been a big fan of any shoe I got because finally I wasn't squatting all wobbly like with my chucks. They feel really well constructed, but again I have nothing to compare to wl shoe wise. I also deadlift in them. At first I deadlifted in my Chucks. Since I have short arms it is tough for me to get in a good position. Deadlifting in these shoes helped me get into a much better position. That is more info than you were asking but just giving my experience. My wife hated lifting in her Ironwork III's and went back to flat bottom shoes.

I did research for several weeks, so best bet is what they suggested. Google the heck out your questions.

For what it is worth, here is where I purchased from: http://www.dynamic-eleiko.com/products/shoesFR.html
    Very quick and good service.

Oh, and mine is an inch heel according to the tape measure from the back.

I use my adidas and like them. They're work horses and I have a feeling that they're never going to quit on me. I deadlift in them (Warning: I'm primarily an OLY guy), and did so when I was doing "the program", and they worked acceptably.
