Just so you'll know, I just deleted another SDG post. It was very satisfying.
Hi all,
In light of some of the recent posts on this board, I was reminded of this article which I think is really good and, believe it or not, applicable to this thing we do. No, the article has nothing to do with training, but the content is relevant.
I thought it was good stuff.

I'll bite: Because they won't do the program The Guru gave them.
Aha! Should have known...
Class 5 Egotist!
Someone call the Guru Busters ... we need a debunking!
I'm lost. I don't quite get the point of the original poster. Surely you aren't saying Rippetoe is a guru? I thought a typical guru was a fat little Indian peddling pseudoscience to a gullible public. Mark isn't Indian, is he?
I sincerely hope that my post was not misunderstood to be in any shape or form referring to Rip. I was really aiming it at any self proclaimed guru who HAS NOT the real world experience that he/she should to be considered an expert. By this virtue, Rip is excluded, but it is all too common in the training community.
I was compelled to post after reading SDGs potshot posts...
Most contributors on this forum view things with a critical eye, so I thought this might be of interest.
