At first I felt annoyed about it, but after watching I like that the interview covered a lot of common misconceptions about Starting Strength. Michael Wolf did a great job here.

Interesting interview. It’s sometimes interesting to hear interviews conducted by non-SS people. At one point Michael Malice asked something like ‘why lift weights, there’s only 2 reasons 1) for appearance or 2) to get stronger’ That was it, either 1 or 2. Well, for me it’s both plus something I didn’t expect, it’s how my body feels as I’m living my life. (This is a bit difficult for me to explain, I’m still trying to understand it.) As a person who’s been working at a computer for almost 40 years my body was adapted to that low physical stress environment. After hearing an interview with Rip about a year and a half ago i started strength training. I am definitely bigger now and definitely stronger. But what I notice most is what I’m calling “feeling alive”! So, i think it can be difficult for someone that has no background or interest in strength training to really grasp its benefits.
Minute 49 is hilarious!
Great job overall, and that minute got me laughing.
