Last bench question for awhile(promise)
I just finished a meet Saturday and am considering one Jan 24.
I'm going to run the bench/press program you outlined here:

Using 395 and 230 for bench/press respectively, even though I managed 385 in comp. I feel I'm good for 395/400 touch and go
My question is, that program is 8 weeks which leaves 4 weeks to figure out to make up the difference between now and Jan 24.
What would you do?

Do 4 weeks of 6x3 / 6x2 but start at 70% and go up 2-3% each week until you start the "official" program at 80%, 8 weeks out from your meet. This will condition you to the volume without burning you out. Focus on form and bar speed. And maybe use pauses and a closer grip on the easy weeks too
