I am novice, been at about 1.5 year.Im not as concerned with powerlifting strength but more for size and athletic,I'm 6 ft 168 and 38 years old.In a surplus to gain slowly,Im finishing 531 bbb 3 month challange and really like using the blackironbeast calculator because of simplisty.Just looking for something I can stick to for a least 12 weeks.
    Thanks for the advise

    Wow...ok.
    OP
Have you given the SS LP a solid try? If not I think you are selling yourself short by not performing the lifts and adding 30 pounds to your frame.
    Then Texas method.

531 is great for a different demographic. It works great for advanced lifters( where volume is accumulated due to the shear great amount of weight being lifted or Masters who need more recovery. It is not likely the optimal choice for you.
There is a reason that LP and Texas method are repeatedly recomended. They offer the fastest progress for a begginer and intermediate.

Glad I'm not the only one that sees that.

I'm also glad that I didn't have to be the homer that simply posted this... Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training | The Aasgaard Company
