Advice on programming
I was running the beyond531 program that incorporated jumps,foam rollings,and medball throws and conditioning as in weighted vest walks. I enjoyed the program very much. Although while reading Jim's article or Tnation, I came across Mark Rippetoe and his advice. I'm wondering if I should really cut out all the assistance and explosive stuff and start fresh on one of the SS programs or Texas method. My goal is to get Strong. My Numbers are 1rm Squat-285, Deadlift-302, Press-115, Bench-255. Am I a novice? I dont know. What do I do about assistance,foam rolling, conditioning(weighted walks)? I dont know. Can I get some opinions. Thank you all.
