    Hey coach

    15, 5'8 1/2, 156lbs.

I'm doing your program for 21 weeks already and had HUGE GAINS.
If you can remember, I've posted a thread with my problem on the bench.
That's over, I grabbed my balls and measured my grip, and it was wrong!
So I've readjusted the grip and now I'm having a pretty linear progress

On these 21 weeks, I've gained 44lbs(now 156lbs) and gained alot of fat, about 6-8%(now 15-17% body fat).
This whole time I was eating pretty good, no sweets or that shit.
About 4000 calories, 230 protein, 400-450 carbohydrates and 100-120 fat.

Early this week, I've started eating 2800(X18 body weight as the faq recommends) calories, 175 g protein, 351 g carbohydrates and 78 g fat.
There is less weight gain, but with that less fat gain.

I was wondering if my new eating habits will stall me on any of the lifts or make the progress slower.
What do you think about my new intake? Is it clean enough so I won't gain any fat/gain minor amounts of fat?

My aim is 170lbs, should I go higher/lower?

Whose FAQ? I don't have one, at least not that I know of. To the extent that your progress has been made possible by your weight gain, and this is a large extent, your progress will obviously be affected by a slowdown in weight gain. It is necessary to eat enough to have a caloric surplus to gain muscular bodyweight, a situation which also causes an increase in bodyfat. But which is easier, bodyfat loss or lean body mass gain? Fat is awfully easy to lose later, especially when your LBM is much higher. At 5'8" and 156, you're still skinny. Quit worrying about your abs and worry more about your lifts.

This claims to be the "official" Starting Strength FAQ:

Right. I am aware of Kethnaab's page, and he has my permission and blessing for the effort. The majority of the stuff in the thread is right out of the book, and people who are going to rely on it instead of buying the book are missing some of the points anyway, so let them enjoy themselves.
