Power Cleans vs Barbell Rows
The SS method prefers power cleans over barbell rows is this because the power clean is systemically more demanding?
Are barbell rows better at overloading the back musculature due to the rows being a slow lift?

The SS method for novices prefers Power Cleans over BB Rows because they use a longer ROM, because they are inherently explosive as opposed to volitionally explosive, and because they are far easier to both complete and judge the completeness of. And we are not concerned with any group of muscles -- we are concerned with the whole system used explosively.
