Squat Form Check
Hi Coach,
I appreciate the time you spend critiquing our workout videos. Now, I'd like to join the many who benefit from your coach.
Ok, ass kissing aside, let me give you some background so you can have some context to the videos. 26 years old, 210 lbs, training for about 7 years now. I started squatting partials then transitioned to ATG and now after BBT, I've been making attempts to change my squat form to conform with the book. After a recent injury and the realization that I may not have been doing many of my lifts correctly I've started things over with the novice training program in PP.
Here is the video of me squatting. This was not my entire workout, I simply included two warm-up sets and two work sets for the sake of your time. Hopefully this is enough.

Here are my personal thoughts. Although I have to say, after months of reading your book and examining the various videos on this website, I've found that I'm notoriously bad at critiquing these videos. I guess there's no real substitute for decades of coaching experience.
- Since I have been high bar squatting for most of my squatting career, low bar squatting still feels foreign to me. How did it look? It felt low but the videos make it seem like the bar is high
- I'm disappointed to see that my knees appear to travel forward. I've been working on trying to eliminate this but to no avail. I thought I corrected it at home with a TUBOW-like object but it appears that with weight on my back my knees still appear to travel forward. Pg 45 on BBT seems to indicate that this is probably a bad habit that has now been embedded in the several years I've been squatting. I don't know what else to do except keep trying to correct it with a TUBOW. Thoughts?
I'd appreciate your comments and suggestions on my above video.
Thanks.

The angle of the shot makes it hard to see your bar position. But these look like all the videos others have posted that display knees going forward at the bottom, and the same thing is wrong for the same reasons. I'm sure the habit is embedded by now, and will be hard to fix without a creative coach.

Coach,
Thanks for your time and comments. Although I will try to self correct I worry that I won't be able to fix it on my own. Since I'm actually moving to Dallas in about 2 weeks, I believe I can make a trip out to WFAC after I settle into my new place.
I wonder if you'd be able to assist me with correcting this issue? I don't know what your coaching rates are but we can talk about it if you're up for it.
