Same specs. Johnny knows the precise weight. Call him. I have both in the gym now, and they are indistinguishable as to sturdiness.
Rip,
Are the basic specs (height, depth, width, etc.) of the bolt-together rack (available from Brown Bros. Welding) the same as the welded rack for which you have specs under the Equipment section of the site? Just wanted to confirm before I gave Brown Bros. Welding a call. Also, how much would you guess the bolt-together rack weighs?
Thank you.

Thanks for the quick reply. Called him earlier and left a message. Wasted a few days looking at shit commercial racks, don't know why I didn't come here first.
As far as the weight, it's made from C4x5.4 channel, which indicates 4" channel that is 5.4 lbs per foot. You can get a pretty accurate estimation adding up the dimensions from the drawing in the book.
It's beefy.
BTW Rip, do you also have taller versions of this rack in your gym, in which a taller person (~6' 1") could do standing press assistance exercises? I see some slight variations in the design from your videos.
[I'm considering getting one fabbed up with this modification.]
I have one rack here that is 12 inches taller than the spec.
Very little extra flex with squats. I don't use it for chins.
None. It's bolted to the floor.
