This exact scenario is outlined?
Short arms is addressed (by affirming that you follow the same set-up procedure and that, while you will look different at the start position, that's expected and correct).
Weak [x body part] is addressed elsewhere on this board by saying just do the exercise w/ as much weight as you can while maintaining perfect form and only advance as long as your form stays good. This is how you address the imbalance.
edit:
BTW isn't your back irreparably injured such that you can't squat and have to use electrostim? If so, i'd strongly recommend you not try to DL without a doctor's express permission.

What about setting up the deadlift on one of those olympic lift platforms and being on the lower ground?
Why don't they ban the trolls around here?
Alright Aug 2013. I'm not a troll, not sure what you're referring to.
You deadlift properly with less weight. That's why I'm at the bottom of Tom's / Adam's rankings, because I have short arms. But then again my lower body *and* upper body are both weak, which is why my work sets are are still under 300#. that or I just suck at deadlifting.
Point is read the chapter as John stipulates, pick the correct working weight for your strength levels, give exactly zero f*cks what other people think about the weight your lifting, and get stronger relative to where you started.
