Getting them out on Monday. Any suggestions on what's a good wait period before starting the program again?

I'm getting mine out later this summer. A couple weeks sounds like for-fucking-ever. What should nutrition be like during the off time, Coach?

I had mine out at 40. Laid me out on my ass for a week with a sore sternum and a lower jaw that stayed numb for 5 months. It must have been a bitch to chisel those suckers out because 3 weeks later I started spitting bones chips from the sockets. Thank God for sodium pentathol!

    Milkshakes are the key.

MH... I found you to be quite inspirational yesterday. Today, I'd like to take that back. Just found out last week that, at 48, it's time for those bastards to come out.

Warm salt water will be your new and very best friend for a while.

Sorry man, I realized after I sent that it had gotten me in the shit once before. This will come of no further comfort to you hopsluvr, but I feel compelled to say to all who have not taken this step yet; don't put this off. I knew these rat bastards had to come out 10 years earlier before I could summon the courage to do it and I put it off. The only redeeming thing about it was happened when the dentist suggested getting all 4 done at once because the experience might put me off the other 3 that weren't giving me a hard time. So I did. Take this to bank hops and cash the check, get 'em all done at once. After my innings with these superfluous bastards, I'd have to be dying before I'd repeat it. I will say this though, coming out of pentathol had me laughing my ass off. The nurses informed Dearly Beloved I would be over this in about an hour as they handed her the vicodin. They were right. Just use as much as you need and stop immediately. I have indeed looked over the abyss with that shit and it looked back at me and I was found wanting.

I had all four out at the same time. Two surgical. Dentist didn't know beforehand that I am a 'bleeder'. Neither did I, until then. Thought I got a piece of Kraft Dinner stuck somewhere...Like Rip said - dry sockets fucking suck. Rest up. The shit they use to repair a dry socket tastes horrible. Like melted plastic.

For some reason, no matter how you tell someone this, most people are like "meh." It's hard to get across just how bad it is.
