    Hey all,

Wanted to put my experience up so hopefully others will learn and not have the same issue. Bought a belt from Best Belts after hearing good things about their products. Waited 3 weeks for it to be made (was expecting that knowing they are custom made), then got an email that it had shipped. That was two months ago, still no belt. The tracking number shows it disappearing somewhere before reaching the local PO box.

Over the past 2 weeks I've been calling them repeatedly as well as sending two emails. Haven't gotten a response one, I guess they don't have staff to answer the phones?
At this point I've lost hope. Gonna hope my credit card company will refund me the money cuz otherwise I'm out $100.

Read several similar experiences on reddit so figured I'd share here bc it sounds like an issue multiple people have had.

This sounds like an issue with the carrier. Saying it "disappeared" before reaching the local PO box is a bit vague. I think you should reach out to the shipping service if Dean isn't getting back to you.

From what I understand, they are a "mom and pop" shop so they might just not be super tech savvy. This is even mentioned in the reddit thread I assume you're talking about.

Personally I've only seen good things from them. Ordered a 3 inch belt that got to me in less than a month and my GF ordered one that got to her in about 2.

Yup, you need to contact the post office and see if they can find it (assuming they shipped it USPS).

Just for balance, my Best Belt is one of my favorite things in the world. Love it. Beautiful, custom-made for me (size, color of choice, style, now broken-in on the holes I use) and I had no problems at all with the order. It would be one of the first 10 things I saved if my house was on fire (assuming I wasn't choosing strictly on price, because it's not expensive). I have no financial interest in the company and only communicated with them the one time I ordered my belt, no other relationship at all.

I agree that this is on the carrier. However, I think it is BB's responsibility to contact the carrier

Yeah if you haven't received any feedback from them then it may be in your best interest to contact the carrier with your tracking info and see what they say. You're lucky because when I ordered my Inzer belt they didn't give me any tracking info.

It's a carrier issue. Though I agree that BB should help if they can.

I'm waiting on my second belt from them right now, a 3" for pulls. I think the 4" belt I got from them a few years ago was well worth the money and the wait.

Even it this current belt "disappears" id still order another one.

Of note, this dude is in Germany. If you don't think small, individual packages get lost while traveling overseas and through other countries, not sure what to tell ya.
