Hi guys - here’s my DL work set. Pls critique. I’ve always had trouble with DL and it’s generally on par with my squat.
Some background - I started training with an SSC coach in 2018 but stopped in 2020 due to the pandemic. I resumed lifting in 2021 but skipped deadlift until this year. My deadlift has since caught up to close to my squat 3x5 weight for set of five.

Make sure that you look at the same spot for the entire rep. As soon as you pass your knees on the way up you lose your eye placement and you get in a hurry to get your hips through. This is not a clean so the speed of the rep is not relevant. Take the slack out of the bar before you begin pushing the floor away. I believe that your feet should point a little more forward than they do in this video (The angle may be deceiving me).

His toe angle has his feet parallel to his femurs, so it's okay.

Thanks guys. Does the form look otherwise ok? I’ve been told that I “chest” my deadlift up. Do you see that here in the last 2 reps?

I don't know what that means.
