My recommendation:
Drop your reps and sets initially, but keep intensity up.
After a week or two add your sets back.
Add reps back over the next month or so.
The timecourse may be longer if you're using higher rep sets or if you're already real strong.

It takes approximately 1 week for every 1k feet change in altitude to adjust. Based on “the Literature” and practical experience going from DC (essentially sea or swamp level) to Afghanistan (roughly 6500 to 7000 feet above sea level) repeatedly .
