    Andy Baker has previously suggested that it could be beneficial for recovery to consolidate all heavy squatting and pulling on two seperate days when programming intermediate and advanced lifters. How would you program the squat-day?

    I am not Andy Baker but....

    Day 1 - Bench, Press
    Day 2 - Heavy Squat, Power Clean or Light Deadlift
    Day 3 - Press, Bench
    Day 4 - Light Squat, Heavy Deadlift

    You could do top sets with backoffs, you could do 3x5, or you could even do Texas Method this way. The world is your oyster.
